Beecology Review

Beecology Review & Giveaway
Beecology is a natural skincare and hair care products. What is interesting to me that this idea was created when David Rzepka allowed a co-worker to put a beehive on his family farm. When life events prevented his co-worker to tend to the beehive, David became the beekeeper of the hive. He found himself actually enjoying doing this. Than after beekeeping he decided that he wanted to make natural skincare and hair care products out of honey, beeswax and other healthy ingredients. His family now produces a whole line of natural products such as lip balm, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.

I have never tried any skincare or healthcare that was made with beeswax. I was very interested when I was able to review products from Beecology. I received several products for a review. When I opened the package today I found Beecology Handcrafted Natural Soap and the scent was Relaxing Lavender with Honey which sounded really good. I also received Beessential Lemon and Lavender all natural beeswax Lip Balm.  The last product that was in side was the Beessental Original Honey Hand and Body Cream Relaxing Lavender with a Touch of Bergamot.

The first product that I reviewed was the Beecology Handcrafted Soap. I really liked the presentation of the soap when I first looked at it. I liked how they had their label on it. The soap that I received was 5 oz and it had a very nice Lavender Scent to it. When I am taking a shower I love the scent of Lavender, because the smell is very relaxing and helps calm me down. One of my biggest concerns is the soap going to make me breakout? I have an issue at time with different products that irritate my skin. What I liked about this soap that the scent was not overbearing, no break outs and left my skin very smooth and fresh.

The second product that I tried was the Beessential. When I applied this Lip Balm on my lips I noticed the smell right away. It had a nice lemon smell to it. At first it was a bit strong but faded shortly. I really liked this balm because it did not feel stick or greasy when I applied it. It soaked into my lips and making them feel great. I felt that my lips where not cracked or chapped and they felt hydrated. I would have to say as of now this is one of my favorite balms.

The last product that I tried was the Beessential Original Honey Hand and Body Cream. This was a nice decent sized bottle 6 oz. When I opened the cap it had a nice Lavender smell to it. The one thing I notice that it comes out quick, so you have to be extra careful that not two much comes out. I squirted out a out a nickle sized about and rubbed it in my skin. I will have to say that I was impressed on how well it rubbed into my skin. It did not leave a greasy, wet, sticky feeling after applying the lotion. I liked how the lavender scent lingered for awhile. It also kept my skin soft for the day. I really liked this lotion.

I really am happy that I tried something new today. I never would of though that beeswax product. I am very please with the product and the quailty and would highly recommend their products. Also I like how they do donate 10 percent of their proceeds to charity. That is also another reason I think they are great. You can find more of their products at   http://www.beecology.com/
