My Little Farm Review

Recently I have found a wonderful job where i get to work with children. I started a new journey about four months ago as a Registered Behavior Tech. RBT incorporate ABA therapy with kiddos that have Autism. When I walked into this job it was exciting and I also was very nervous and I did not know what to expect. Personally I do a lot of in home session with a lot of different kiddos. There are time where I am also at the center conducting sessions with my kiddos. I am always looking around for new products to help with the kiddos that I work with.

Recently I was introduced to My Little Farm. Which is amazing if you have a kiddo with autism. My children that I have do not have autism and my daughter absolutely loves this. I have a client that is a non verbal but he loves books and looking at them. I decided to bring My Little Farm with me to one of our sessions. We are trying to teach him how to mand. When I took this felt farm out his eye brighten up and he absolutely loved it. He kept manding book on his iPad which I knew that he wanted this out so he could play with it. We were making up our own stories and I told him to put different things on the farm board and he sure enough would for me. We could of spent hours playing with this My Little Farm. It was amazing that his product brought us closer together.

What I like about the product is that it sturdy. My client can be a little rough sometimes and it was durable and we got through the session. I like how durable the felt objects that you put on the board. He was gentle but they were durable when he played with them. It was easy for my client to but the felt objects on the board and they did not fall off for her. I was really impressed. Overall this product can be used for many different activities. It could even be a story time activity during story time. I would highly recommend it.

I would check them out on amazon!
