Veteran Grown

Recently I have been on a mission I have been looking into different CBD products that are out there. On this journey let me tell you that I have been overwhelmed with all the products that are out there. I also didn't realize that there were so many and that their is a wide variety of products. 

Recently we connected with a company Veteran Grown. Veteran Grown is a licensed Hemp grower, as well as the first processor in Tennessee. This company is operated by a husband and wife team that served in Afghanistan in the US Army. They formed this company after Margaret Fox who was involved in an accident that caused her to become dependent on Opioids. They were in search for a better quality of life for her. They found out that hemp was legal to grow with a license in the great state of Tennessee. They produce CBD Oil, CBD topical salves, CBD edibles, as well as other products.

We were lucky enough to be able to try a variety of their products. The first product that we took a look at was their Veteran Grown Hemp Suckers and they're made in the USA. This pack of suckers comes in a 12 pack. They are assorted flavors. The ingredients, corn syrup, sugar, flavoring, food dye, and full hemp extract. 

Then we received three of their lotions to try. We received their Country Apple, The One and Only, and Sweet Pea. These lotions come in 8 oz. This a premium lotion with 100mg of Hemp Full Plant Extract to alleviate pain and arthritis while offering great moisturizer. I know that I have some arthritis in my knee and I use this lotion for my knee pain. This lotion is infused with Shea Butter and Coconut Oil, vitamin e, hemp oil, and full spectrum CBD. When I applied these lotions they where very smooth and absorbed great into the skin. When using this lotion I could tell the difference within 24 hours. My skin seemed happier and more nourished. This lotion is very lightweight and easy to use. The sweet Pea is my favorite one out of the three. This has a bright blend of sweet pea, watery pear and luscious raspberry to it. You can pick up the floral scents of the lotions. The Country Apple comes in second place. This reminds me of and orchard and I'm surrounded by apples. If you enjoy the fall and apples than this lotion is for you. 

 next product that we took a look at was their CBD body budder. This is Emerald Goddess and it comes in a 4 oz jar. This body budder helps form a protective barrier between the skin and element. This helps trap the moisture that you want in your skin. This also helps keep al things that you don't want in your skin. This would be a great product for the winter. It doesn't matter what season it is it will keep your skin hydrated. This product is recommend using after you take a shower. I will admit that I have rough dry skin, so this product works amazing with the type of skin I have. This also helps keep my skin moisturized and smooth. This product is also infused with CBD in it and will help with muscle aches that you may have. 

Next we have their Travel Kit. This will help you get through the stressful days. Especially the times that we are going through right now. This kit will have you feeling good in no time. What you will find in your travel kits is one 1/2oz Hemp Tincture. This will help if you suffer from anxiety, headaches, depression and many other issues. What you will find next in this kit is 1 4oz assorted hemp candies. These taste very good. These are candy drops that contain hemp extract that is grown in TN but also processed from raw plant materials. The flavors that they come in are watermelon, strawberry and custom kush candies. Lastly you'll find 5 20 mg hemp lollipops. This is great to have on hand with you suffer from anxiety and headaches and give you relief. 

That last thing that we took a look at was their starter relief kit. If you are new to CBD products like me and trying to start to learn about different products that may treat your pain. This could be the first step that you would want to take. This would be the starter kit. This is a introductory pack that you can try out everything hemp and see what works for you. The first thing that we took out the package is their 1/4oz ethanol extracted Hemp CBD this is a 40 dollar value. This will last you for about 3 weeks if you use it how it supposed to be used. It very easy to use take 1 drop 3 times a day for the first week fi necessary. This can help with chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation, fibromyagia and many other issues that you may have. Think Jerky

A great gift idea for Father's Day is the gift of jerky. Recently I was connected with Think Jerky and is grass fed Beef Jerky Sweet Chipotle. This is 70 calories per serving. 

To be honest before now I never realized that they had flavors like think for jerky. I love jerky but usually I only try beef jerky. When I hear about this Sweet Chipotle flavor I was intrigued to try it. This recipe is created by Chef Matt Troost. Matt Troost is a pioneer of the farm to table movement and a two time baconfest champion.  This recipe combines real raspberries with a three pepper blend for a spicy finish. 

This was a unique blend of jerky but it was well liked in our home. We had to fight over to have a piece. We would recommend this jerky and would recommend you looking at their website to check this jerky and their other jerky's out on their website.

Do have hair like me that tends to tangle? My daughter takes after me when it comes with hair that loves to tangle. I hate brushing my hair with a passion because it always hurts. My daughter always seems to hide when I tell her its time to brush her hair. It seems like the simplest little things tangle her hair bad and it hurts to brush it.

Recently we were introduced to Cricket Co. They offer a variety of different haircare products. What caught my eye is that they have a section on their website for detangle brushes. I thought this was quite interesting and wanted to learn more about them. They have different style and sizes of detangle brushes available. We received two that we were able to try.

The first brush that we were able to take a look at was their Splash Detangling Brush Collection. This comes in several different colors. We received their pink color. The Splash Detangling Brush is super soft flex bristles that won't tear and kinder. This is a great brush that will go through stubborn hair that won't hurt your scalp. This has clear ball tips that help untangle the wildest of knots that are on wet or dry hair. My daughter will actually brush her hair by herself. She is very fond of this brush and she said it doesn't hurt her hair. 

The next brush that we took a look at was a little different that other brushes look like. This is their Ultra Smooth Detangling Brush. The Ultra Smooth Detangling Brush is ideal for detangling all hair types wet or dry. This brush is a special blend of Argan and Olive oils and Kertain protein replace tangles with shiny and smoother hair. What I also like about this brush is when I use it wet it helps brush in the conditioner that I need. 

I really enjoyed both of these brushes. The are different from the brushes that I normally use. I don't fret brushing my hair with these brushes. Partake Brewery

When I learned about Partake Brewing it touched my heart. I didn't realize that certain conditions out there can cause people not to drink beer or other alcoholic drinks. WhenI learned about Partake Brewing it opened up my thought process and I learned a lot. The owner of Partake Brewery loves his craft beer, but when he was diagnosed with chrones disease he decided to give up alcohol. 

When choosing the decision he decided to create Partake Brewery which offers a non alcoholic beverage.  I was quite impressed with this idea and that Partake Brewery gives people options if they're not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages. We received their Discovery Pack to give a try. I would recommend if you are new to this product the Discovery Pack would be the first option to try. You can taste a variety of different beers and than you can decided which one you prefer. Then you have to option to buy variety packs or them individual. 

The Discovery Pack comes with five different flavors: Red, Blondie, Pale, IPA and Stout. 

Red is the first beer that we took a look at. This is their newest addition to the Partake family. This has 25 calories and 3 carbs in this beer. This is crafted with 5 malts, Partake is a smooth and soft with ribbons of caramel malt and toast. This is a classic English and Irish ales. 

The next beer is their Pale Beer. Their Pale is a internationally award-winning craft beer with 10 calories and 0 carbs. This has a medium bitterness to it but is balanced by caramel malt sweetness and perfumey, and tropical aromatics. This will be a favorite beer drinkers. 

IPA is their first beer that they ever brewed. This is featured on the Dragons Den. This is a 10 calories and 2 carbs. This beer is considered to be a favorite. This beer balances the citrusy hops with a sweet malt backbone. This is a light bubbly body and dry finish.

The next beer is the Blonde. Their Blonde is an easy summer sipper perfect or sitting on your deck and enjoying your summer. this is a 15 calories and 3 carbs. This is a golden, bubbly and easy drinking. This is a malt forward ale which is a favorite in our family.

The last beer is Stout. This beer has 30 calories and 8 carbs. This is a great beer to have with a burger. This is a deep brown beer that has warmth, walnut highlights topped by tall, a tan cap of foam. 

Overall I would recommend this drink for people who can't have alcoholic drinks or for the Fourth of July. I would also recommend if you want to drink with friend when your at a party that this beer would make a great option for that experience. Are you having a get together for the Fourth of July? I know our family usually goes to a firework show, but this year it has been cancelled due to Covid. Which is disappointing although we decided to have a Fourth of July party instead. My kids were excited when they learned about this plan.

Well you have to have snacks when it comes to having a party. All you need is chips and salsa or chips and cheese. When I learned about Que Pasa Liberty Tortilla Chips they would make a great edition for our party. This Tortilla chips is not like any Tortilla chips you have tasted before. This chip is not your typical corn tortilla chips that use processed corn flour. Que Pasa grounds whole corn kernels using volcanic stones. This traditional way of making these tortilla chips will be passed down through generations. 

You can get this limited edition of Liberty Tortilla Chips that uses natural ingredients to color their chips. They use whole grain organic blue corn, whole grain organic white corn and beet juice. Which I find quite interesting. What I also like about the Tortilla Chips are organic, GMO-free, nut-free, gluten-free, vegan and kosher, and made using only the highest quality ingredients. 

These taste amazing! My kiddos absolutely love them. They also enjoy the amazing colors. They think they are fun and add the fun to the Fourth of July. When it comes to the environment I try to find ways to help the environment in my own ways. When it comes to plastic bag it hurts our environment in a huge way. When it comes to early childhood education it's very important incorporate appropriate age activities for your children. It never to early to start teaching  children. What I like about Lets Talk Kids is that they have activity kits to help you as parents become teacher for your children. I know it can be overwhelming at times. Wicked good is a company that you can be different tealight, aloe hand salve, perfume oil roller, perfume spray and they offer more products on their website. They also offer a scent club that you can subscribe to and get a monthly box. 

I'm always excited to see what comes in my boxes. This gives you the opportunity to order a box and get products that you can try that you maybe wouldn't have purchased otherwise. 

 my box arrived we received four items that were in the April box. We received a small soy candle which is apart of the aloe agave. When you burn it or open the tin you will be able to pick up the cucumber, sweet agave and honeydew. It smelt amazing and I kept wanting to smell it more. 

The next product that is our box was their Wicked-Good Aloe Butter Hand Salve Greenhouse. It come in a small tin. It easy to get out and rub on your skin. It doesn't leave a greasy film after rubbing into the skin. The scent is Green Tea, Grapefruit, and Lemongrass. 

The third thing that was in our box was their Perfume Spray. This is Green Amber. Which smells amazing. When I sprayed it I will admit that it lasted for quite awhile. I really enjoyed the scent and this will go in the perfumes that I wear on a regular basis. This has Violet petals, amber woods and Palo Santo. 

Last product that we looked into was their Perfume Oil that is Cactus Blossom. I will be the first admit that this one is kind of a strange scent. It's not a bad scent, but it different. After using it for awhile I got used to it. It has Green Botanicals, fresh island florals and white sandalwood. 

This is a great scent subscription box and I would recommend it. Also there if you don't want to purchase the subscription box there is other options. I know now a days I'm in a hurry and I don't always have time to charge my phone. Also another problem for me is my kids steal my cords to plug in the my computer or wall. I Can Series

I have two kids that are home from school and I'm trying to keep them up to date with their studies. The one important thing that both of my children need to do is read. It starting to become difficult for my daughter because she running out of good books to read. We have been on the hunt for great books for my daughter to read.

The first  book that we took a look at was their book called The Big Bad Bully. This is a bully story with a twist! Follow a young girl who struggles throughout grade school with a bully. Every day she hears her flaws pointed out. Finally, she decides to stand up to her tormentor and discovers…. it is herself! This is not a book about the bully sitting beside you in class, but the bully living in your head. After reading this book. I would have to agree. Even today I would say that I'm my worst enemy and I'm the hardest on myself. I agree with his book and never thought of it this way. It was a great book and taught my daughter a great lesson. 

The next book that we took a look at was I Can Believe In Myself. I CAN Believe in Myself Book Description – Molly has been chosen to be the next Star of the Day! Most kids would be excited. Molly, however, is terrified! She just CAN’T speak in front of her class. She worries all day. She frets all night. “I CAN’T… I CAN’T…. I CAN’T,” Molly convinces herself. The next book that we read was their I Can Make A Difference. I CAN Make a Difference Book Description – Alex cannot believe it! He and his classmates are going to be given ten dollars each! Finally, Alex can buy that brand new basketball he’s been wanting! But his fun gets fouled when he discovers that he must spend his gift to make a difference in someone else’s life. To make matters even worse, Alex loses his money! How is he ever going to make a difference now? I CAN Make a Difference is a book that shows children how they can make a difference for others by using their time, talents or treasures.

The last book that we received was their I CAN Be Me Book Description – Maria just wants to be the same as everyone else. But, no! Coming from a different country, she looks different and eats different foods with different names, like “pupusas” (which Alex has fun pronouncing: “Poo-POO-sa”). Embarrassed, Maria withdraws from her friends and struggles to even focus on her big assignment which is due in one week! All she can focus on is how different she is from everyone else. Yet, as the story unfolds, Maria discovers that she and all her classmates ARE the same in one surprising way: they are all uniquely different!

These books were amazing for my litter girl. If you are looking for books that have moral and ethics these books are for you. My daughter felt empowered after she read these books. She personally said she could relate to each book that she read. She couldn't put them down and had to read each on of them. I would highly recommend this series and would make a great investment. Eco Local

The one thing I noticed during Covid 19 is that its hard to find toilet paper and paper towel. Even after a few months when I go down the toilet paper and paper towel row it usually empty. When I heard about Eco Local I was relieved.

When I was able to give this product a try I was pretty  excited. I don't know when or if they will get paper towel back in the store and in the meantime I needed something that I could use at home.
