Schofferhofer

Do you enjoy the flavors Pomegranate or Grapefruit? Then this unique beer might just be for you. My dad is a beer drinker so I'm aware of many different kinds of beer but I never knew heard of Pomegranate and Grapefruit beer until now. I want to introduce you to Schofferhofer Hefeweizen.

The story behind Schofferhofer Hefeweizen can be found here:

The story of Schöfferhofer starts with Peter Schöffer (1425-1503), a sophisticated maverick of his time with a distinctive taste and passion for beer. As part of the printing revolution of his time, Schöffer set a new technological standard. In the same spirit, Schöfferhofer Weizen became the new benchmark in German wheat beer brewing by being the first wheat beer brewed outside of Bavaria.

The first beer that we tried Was They Grapefruit one. I let my dad try this one due to not being a huge grapefruit fan. Although I noticed that you could add this to your special cocktail and that would be amazing. This Grapefruit beer is from Germany. This is the first grapefruit beer that is made. It's 50/50 blend of Schofferhofer Hefeweizen. You will find this beer has a natural carbonated grapefruit flavor. My dad said it was good. It was different and had a unique taste. He said that this would make a great summer drink.

The next beer that we took a look at is their Pomegranate beer. This one was interesting. I never thought that I would like it. I do like Pomegranate it sometimes and this is that one time that I actually really enjoy it. This is their new addition of the Schofferhofer Hefeweizen family collection. This is also a 50/50 blend of Hefeweizen beer and a natural Pomegranate Juice resulting in a nice refreshing drink. This would also be a great refreshing drink during the summer.

I would recommend investing in Schofferhofer and your next summer party. This will be a great conversation starter. It was a definitely a unique kind of beer and I surpassingly enjoyed the Pomegranate. I would highly recommend checking out their website.
