Man Cans Review (holiday gift guide)

Are you looking for a unique special gift for that guy in your life? Does your husband have that special man cave at home. I found a very unique company called Man Cans. Man Cans was created in November 2010 by a very special 13 year old boy. He had a unique idea that came to him when his sister was selling candle for a school fundraiser. He thought "Why don't people sell candle with scents that men like?" He took the idea and ran with it. This young man created a special jar that has Man Cans on the outside of the candle.

Not only does this young man have a great idea is he also giving back. His idea led to selling man scented candles that led to a great opportunity to feed so many hungry people. 

I was very excited when I was able to review several Man Cans for review. I received Grandpas Pipe, Campfire, Coffee, and Fresh Cut Grass. When I opened up the package I was very excited. When I took each can out they were amazing. Of course they looked like cans and had a nice label around it that said Man Cans. This is a great unique guy for that special man in your life. Godefroy Mascara Warmer Review (holiday gift guide)

If you are looking for professional salon products for your eyelashes or eyebrows you need to check out Godefroy. Godefroy offers amazing and unique products. I recently received their mascara warmer.

I could not wait to try this product out. Before receiving this product I was not aware that they even made mascara warmer. This product retails for 19.95 on Godefroy. This product helps eliminate clumping on lashes, quick heat up, can be used with all mascara brands, it helps to create a well defined curl. 

I was eager to try this product out right away. I decided to plug it in right away and put my mascara in the warmer. I let it warm out when I was applying my other make up. I was surprised on how quickly that my mascara warmed up. When I took it out of the warmer it was warm and not clumpy. It applied smoothly to my lashes. I was impressed on how better my lashes looked. I would highly recommend this product. I know that my mascara warmer is going to be kept in my bathroom, so I can use this product daily. Okiedog Review (holiday gift guide)

Are you going on a trip this year for the holiday season? I know in my household when you tell my children they are going on a trip they get excited. Recently I was introduced to an amazing site called Okiedog. They have variety of products from diaper bags to children animal suit cases. 

A little bit about Okiedog is that they are a fun loving company. There goal is to make families lives more fun, more convenient and in a truly original way. They are very dedicated to making products for children and committed to making the best and safest product possible. 

I recently received one of their wildpack rolling luggage tiger for review. When I found this product on their website I thought it was adorable. When I saw it in person it was even more adorable. This product is a little small, but perfect size for your toddler. It will hold a couple of days worth of clothing. When I opened up the suitcase I noticed the zipper zipped up with no problems. That is a deal breaker for me when I am packing. If the zipper does not work I will not use that suitcase. I love how the ears of this suitcase are very soft and fabric. The tiger is not soft and harder material so it will not get damaged during travel. When I open this product up I love how there is one side where their is a mesh net where you can put tooth brush, brush, socks ect. The other side is where you can pack our child's clothes. It fits quite a lot. 

I would highly recommend this product whether you use it for fun or for travel. It is very durable for travel. I love how my children were very curious by this product and they wanted to pack their self. You can find this product and their other amazing products on their site here.

Room on the Broom Review

 Halloween is right around the corner and I have something special to share with you. This year celebrate Halloween with Room on the Broom children's book and their new app. The amazing author of Room on the Broom is Julia Donaldson, UK Children's Laureate and illustrator Axel Scheffler. You may be familiar with one of their previous books Gruffalo and The Gruffoalo's Child. 

Room on the Broom is a great children's book. I was not sure when I first received the book. I am not fond of witches, but Room on the Broom has changed my mind about witches. A little bit about the book. This book shares humor, adventure and teaches your child the importance of family, friend and teamwork. It about a happy witch and her cat and they are flying through the sky on their broomstick - until the witch drops her hat, bow and her wand. There are the helpful animals to help the nice witch out. In return they want to ride on her broomstick. After everyone is on the broomstick the witch thinks that it will hold everyone, except when the broom breaks she will have to face a mean dragon. Will her new friends come through for the nice witch?

 

They also came out with a new The Room on the Broom Games app. The room on the Broom is a high quality game app that is recommend for ages 3-7. This app features beautiful design based on Alex Scheffler's original illustrations. What I love about this app is that it is age appropriate and safe for our children. My son was entertained with this app for hours. This app provides 8 imaginative activities. This app provides players to interact and explore within the app. Your child can practicing early learning skills. Your child will learn counting skills, creativity and literacy. Your child will get to play with the characters that are feature in Room on the Broom. They can help the characters and get them to fly, eat and explore their world. 

 

Another great thing about this app that there is no in app charges. That is what always gets me mad, because my children tend to charge me with in app charges. Which makes this app great. You can purchase this app through the iTunes stores for iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone, iPod Touch, GooglePlay, Amazon for Android device priced at 4.99.

Prize Candle Review

I was very excited when I was given a chance to review Prize Candle. Prize candle is one of the candles that has jewelry $10-$5000 dollar ring inside. So you get an amazing scent and a surprise in your candle. The prize candle that I received for a review was in a 9 oz all natural soy was candle that was made in the USA. The scent of the candle came in Mulled Wine. Mulled Wine is a fantastic scent. 

Of course I was very excited to start burning my Prize candle. The one thing about this candle that I love is that the glass never got to hot. At any time you can move the candle or look into the wax to see where your surprise is. The scent of candle was not overwhelming, but the scent did spread throughout the room. 

The one bad thing about this product is that became very anxious to learn about my surprise in my candle. When I did get bag out of the candle I let it cool off for several minutes. When I opened it up I saw my beautiful ring. It had a beautiful gem inside. Although I was not sure how much my ring was worth, I was able to go to their website and find out. Char Crust Review and Giveaway

I know that I love to grill and I try to grill whenever I can. Lately the weather here has been warm so we are able to cook out. Although it is still winter I have found a new friend that helps me get that grill flavor on those cold days. 

Char Crust is a line of dry seasoning rubs to help you get that great char crust on your meats and fish. Char crust is very simple to use and help make your meal one step better. The one thing that I love about this product that it does not matter what time of year it is. Since it is winter at the moment we can have that summer taste right now. This product has started in 1957 at the legendary restaurant Al Farber's Steakhouse in Chicago's Belden Stratford Hotel. This would bring customers all around the country to enjoy this experience. Even those the restaurant closed down they started a new line to promote their product char crust. 
 
I was lucky to receive two of out of their nine flavors that they offer. I chose to review All American BBQ and Hickory Smoked. My favorite was the All American BBQ and they got it just right. You know it is that good when you are done eating and you still want more after you are full. They have figured out how to blend all the ingredients together just right to make the best rub.  I would highly recommend trying this flavor because it absolutely the best. 

The second flavor was the Hickory Smoke. I also loves this flavor and this one was my dads favorite. You know when you go the one of your favorite restaurants and yo order pork chops and they have that distinct hickory smoke that they just get right. Well I have tried so many times to get that taste and never seem to be able to until I tried Char Crust.
