Mastermind by Pressman Toys is the perfect game for my ten year old son. This game is where you try and crack a code. There are two players to this game. There is a code maker and a code cracker. Which is a lot of fun. There is a spot at the end of the game where one player will come up with the code. There are four different colors that you can choose from. You are also allowed to use the same color twice.
Once the coder makes up the code there is a shield that you can put over the code, so the code cracker will not be able to see the code. The code cracker get ten tries to break the code. They have ten slots to put down the color they believe is in the code. Each try the code breaker will put white or red pegs to let the code breaker know if they have any matches in that code. This repeats until the code is broken or the tenth try. Then the code is revealed.
My son likes this game, but for me i get frustrated. My son is very good at this game and can figure out the codes. It a game where you put your critical thinking skill to use. It brings hours of fun and trying to break the code. You can find this game at Pressman Toys.
