Lately I have learned a lot about plastic straws. Did you know that over 400 million plastic straws are thrown away every day in the USA. Each straw that is throw away take over 200 years to decompose. Personally I never cared for them and always looked for an alternative route. Recently I have been introduced Wheat Straws by eco-Planet. These are available for retail on amazon.com. We received two packages of wheat straws for review. 

When we received our two boxes for review each box comes with 100 straws per box. They are all natural small and thin. They kind of remind me of cocktail straws. These straws are simple and made out of straw, actually they are made out of wheat. Can you believe that. I never heard of that before and found it pretty interesting. This company put the RAW in stRAW, but please drink out of the straws and do not try to eat them. 

What I love about this concept is that these are natural straws and they help the environment. That you can throw them out and they will not hurt the environment or hurt the animals. When this straw is thrown out it is wheat so it biodegradable and will decompose naturally and will not hurt wildlife.

My daughter and son tried these straws they liked it. The only downfall is they wished they were a little wider. They like using two them together instead of one. ZIMPLI KIDS Review

When it comes to slime it is banned from our house. It seems like every time that I let any kind of slime products in my house that it turns out to be a disaster and it tends to get everywhere and on everything. Recently I was introduced to ZIMPLI KIDS. You may already be aware of ZIMPLI KIDS and seen their ads on TV. When my children seen their ads on TV they always tell me they must have this and that I need to get it for them. 

What I like about their product is that you can play with it in the bathtub. Which as a mom I can handle the only concern was the clean up stage. The clean up stage was a breeze and it surprised me that it was so simple. How this product works is that you have a package that has two bags. One of the bags you can put in the bathtub and it you can play with the Gelli Baff. You mix it with the water and you have hours of fun. There are different kinds that you can get. You can get the princess kind, glitter kinds, and there are even some Gelli Baff that have scents. 

My children had a great time playing with this in the tub. If you don't want to put this product in your bathtub you can put it in one of those sandbox type of things. This would make it simple and you can play with this outside and it would reduce the risk of making a mask. My kids spent hours of playing with the Gelli Bath and they absolutely loved the feel of it and wanted to save it. When you want to clean up there is another package in there that you can open and put in the mix and it will make it liquid where it can go down your drain without clogging it up. To me I was pretty impressed which that option. 

Overall I was pretty impressed with the creativity of this product. Not only fun for the kids it was easy to contain and not make a mess. It was also very simple to clean up. I also liked how there was a huge selection for kids. You can find their other products at their website below.

Fin Fun Mermaid Review

I have an eight year old daughter who is obsessed with mermaids. Mermaids this and mermaids that. When I came across Fin Fun Mermaid. This company is amazing if you have a child or even know an adult who is obsessed with mermaids. They have a variety of different products that they offer on their website. They offer different mermaid tails, monofins, swimwear, accessories, clothing, blankets, toys and gifts. 

My daughter was excited when her review package game in the mail. We received the Mermaid Lip Gloss set that retails around 14.95 and we also received Pacific Mermaid Leggings that retails around 29.95. 

My daughter took a liking to their leggings that they had on their website. She in a women size small and they fit perfectly on her. She said they are very comfortable. We received the Pacific Mermaid Leggings. They are fun colorful and perfect for a young girl. They do offer these leggings in different sizes like toddler, girls and women. The leggings that they offer are mid rise leggings and have a hidden waist pocket that can keep small items in there. This legging can be use for all different types of activities like yoga, everyday use and playtime. When my daughter where these leggings they fit her just right and they where very comfortable for her. She could move freely and she had no problems at all. These leggings are high quality and breathable and they are made of poly/spandex blend. My daughter absolutely fell in love with these legging and she is looking into buying more in the future.

The next item that we received Mermaid Gloss. This product is recommended for ages 5 and up. My daughter recently have gotten into make up and obsessed with the lip gloss. When we received the lip gloss in the mail it came in a three pack. The flavors of the gloss are blueberry, vanilla and grape. My daughters favorite was grape and mine was vanilla. The lip gloss applies on smoothly and does not feel greasy. This was great quality of lip gloss and my daughter absolutely loved it. 

Overall we were very pleased with Fin Fun Mermaid products. Their products are great quality and I would highly recommend them. They have a variety of different products that my daughter fell in love with. We were amazed to look at their website and to see the different mermaid tails that they had to offer and the detail to them. My daughter favorite item is the leggings.  You know me trying to find great and new product to share with you guys. Well I came across a great site called The Spice Lab Gourmet Sea Salts. I never thought in a million years that there was so many different kinds of Sea Salt. When I was on their site I learned a lot of fun information. It was neat to see all the different kind of Sea Salts that were available. The Spice Lab Gourmet Sea Salts have 180 different kind of sea salts and they come from 30 different countries. I thought that was amazing. I was intrigued looking at the different salts on the site that they had a variety of different colors and texture and that all serves a purpose.

I received a beautiful gift box with a beautiful spice rack with a sample of four different kinds of Sea Salts to try. It also came with a wooden spoon that was really cute. In my sample back I received the following Sea Salts: Hawaiian Black Lava, Hawaiian Bamboo Jade, Hawaiian Pink Passion, Hawaiian Red Alaea. 

The first Sea Salt that I was able to try was Hawaiian Black Lava Seal Salt no. 13. I can see why this this salt has received the named Black Lava. The salt looks just like black lava. This salt is black in color and has a silky texture to it. When you use this salt do not use it while you are cooking. By using this product while yu are cooking it will dissolve and the added black element will settle at the bottom of what ever you are cooking. The best way to use Black Lava is to use this as a finishing salt. You can use this salt on foods such ad seafood, pork and vegetables. 

The second salt is Hawaiian Bamboo Jade no. 58. The Jade green salt is a combination of the best Hawaii and Chinese herbal medicine. This is a certified organic bamboo leaf extract. This is considered one of their prized ingredients over in Southern China. This salt is a finishing salt and has the following in infriedents amino acids, antioxidants and vitamins. This will be great with all types of Asian cuisines example this would work great in stir fry, soups, porks, chickens, and beef dishes. This could also be the salt on the rim of your favorite cocktail. 

The third salt is Hawaiian Pink Passion no. 56 and the Red Alaea Sea Salt. The Pink Passion is a Alarea red seal salt and is full of rich minerals and iron. That is how it gets it stunning color. What I thought was interesting that originally this was used in ceremonies to cleanse, purify and used for blessing, and healing. This is the finest clay that is extracted from the veins between the layers of lava rock which is very interesting. Then this clay is purified and refined after that processed it is bonded with white Hawaiian sea salt. This is used for seasoning fish and meant. This would be a great seasoning since it has iron and that a major plus for my daughter. 


 I really enjoyed these products and learning so much from this product. I never new the process of the sea salts and to find them from lava. That was interesting also. The amazing part is this is amazing on meats and fish.  I would highly recommend these sea salts and you can find their products HERE.

Eat Smart Precision Elite Kitchen Scale

Eat Smart is a company that wants to gives their very best back to their customers. They work very hard to bring the best products to their customers. What is also amazing is they give back from the sales that they make and donate to charities each month. They offer a variety of different products such as bathroom sales, kitchen scales, thermometers, baby and pet scales, and travel products.

Eat Smart sent me the Precision Elite Kitchen scale for review.  It was a lot bigger than I expected it to be. The features to this product are: EatSmart Elite Sensor Technology, durable, easy to clean stainless steel top, easy to read backlit display, teak feature, subtract weight of container, measurements units, maxim weight and comes with a 2 year eatsmart satisfaction guarantee. 

When I took the product I thought it looked classy and would fit in almost any kitchen. Which is nice where it looked classy and would fit in the most stylish kitchens. This scale is oversized but that is the point with this scale. The reason why it oversized it you can put different foods together on the scale. It saves time where you don't have to repeat several times. After making a mess this product is very easy to clean and takes less time then other scales that I own. Also this scale can hold up to 15 pounds. 

Overall I really like this product and I would recommend it. I like the numbers that are on screen they are easy to read. The stainless steel is to clean up and it doesn't look dull or scratch after use. It easy to store. I also like that this a battery operated scale and all you need to replace the batteries when they die.

Summer is coming up and it seems like I am always on the go. You can not go wrong with Rosebud Perfumes. Rosebud perfumes has a variety of solid perfumes and lip balms products. I was able to try two of their tins for review. I was able review rectangular tin that had three lip balms in side and another circular tin with three of their perfumes in side. 

The first tin that I reviewed was their Rosebud lip balm tin. Three lip balms come in this specific tin. The three lip balms that I received in this tin where Minted Rose, Strawberry, and Rosebud Salve. Each lip balm comes in a .8 oz container. What I like about each lip balm is that they smell great, there easy to get the amount you want out with your finger and they do not smear. I also like how the feel of the lip balm feel and it does not feel sticky after applying. 

The first balm that I tried was their Strawberry Lip Balm. I was very fond of this lip balm because I love strawberries. When I smelled this lip balm it smelled like Strawberry shortcake. This lip balm is made with natural beeswax and a trade secret blend of strawberry flavors. What I like about this lip balm is the flavor is amazing and it helps protect my lips. 

The second Lip Balm that came in the tin was their Rosebud Salve. This product works wonders if you have chapped lips, dry skin and minor burns. I was excited to try this product on my son. He has a major issue with chapped lips and this product works wonders. I agree when they say that this salve is a miracle in a can. This product helped my son get some relief from his chapped lips. 

The last lip balm that came in this tin was their Minted Rose Lip Balm. I love peppermint so I fell in love with the smell of this lip balm. This products is great for moisture for your lips and great for a gloss. This balm is great for headaches and tension. You can dab a little bit on your temples to help relieve the tension.

The next product that I received was their Rosebud Medley of Lip Balm Tubes. I really like the options with this tin. It is great storage for the lip balms or the lip balms can fit great in your purse. This tin contains a trio of lip balm flavors in Tubes that can be mixed and matched or savored individually for the ultimate lip balm experience. Each tube comes in a .5 oz. The first lip balm that I took out of the tin was their Moka Rose. You can smell this lip balm when you open the tin right away. If you are a chocolate fan this is a great product for you. It also comes with the Strawberry lip balm and the rosebud salve. Each lip balm applies great and leaves your lip feeling great and moisturized. This product does not leave your lips greasy or sticky. I love how they help your lips from being chapped.
