Lately my dad has been pulling muscles in his back and he also things that he has arthritis in his back. It has been bothering him the last month or so. My dad has been taking naproxen for the pain, but it hasn't been solving the problem. Recently I came across a line of products that helps issues with the back, neck, shoulders, keens and elbow pain. The line of products are called Salonpas. The sent us a review package for my dad to see if their product could help relieve some symptoms of his pain.
In our review package we received Salonpas Lidocaine pain relieving patch, Salonpas Deep relieving gel, Salonpas pain relieving patch large, Salonpas hot Capsicum patch, Salonpas pain reliving patch, Salonpas lidocain plus pain relieving cream, Salonpas jet spray, and Salonpas Lidocaine plus pain relieving liquid. When we opened it I was surprised with the variety of products that they had to offer. It also seemed like they had products for every type of ache that you have.
The first product that we took a look at is their Salonpas Pain relieving patch. This patch is for temporary relief of minor aches and pains. This patch can help stiff necks, sore shoulders, backaches and joint pain. This is a smaller patch which can be nice. This patch last for roughly 8 hours. Their are 60 patches that come in this box. The patches are easy to use the film is easy to take of and remove. When removing the film it does not bunch up and it is not complicated to apply to the skin. When wearing the patch it does stay on and it does not come off while using the the patch. It did help relieve the aches and pains.
The second product that we received was their Slaonpas Pain Relieving Patch Large. You also apply this patch for 9 hours. In this box you have 6 patches. They are roughly around 5.67"x3.62". This patch gives temporary relief of minor aches and pains and targets for the back area, shoulder, neck and joint pain. You can use this product if you have arthritis, simple backache, strains, bruises and sprains. These patches are easy to use and place without any issues.
The next product is the Salonpas Lidocaine 4% Pain relieving gel patch Maximum strength. This patch help desensitize aggravated nerves for temporary relief of pain. This is targeted for the back, neck, shoulders, knees and elbows. You also apply this patch for 8 hours. This gel patch gives off a numbing relief for your pain when you apply it. This patch is unscented. It comes with 6 patches in the box and measures 3 15/16x 5 1/2". These are a little different on applying to the skin. You take half the film off on the side patch and apply to the skin then take the other half of the film off and apply. Then once the patch is applied on the area press the patch throughly.
The next product that we received was their Salonpas Hot. This comes in a 3 pack. These are 3 folded patches that measure 5.12x 7.09. This is a good product to use for simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises and sprains.
The also offer Pain relieving gel patch hot. This is a stretchable patch that measures 3 15/16 " x 5 1/2". This box contains 6 patches and you apply them for 8 hours. This is for back ,neck, shoulders, knees and elbows. This product has better adhesion and offers rounded corners. Easy application with split film. This is stretchable from all the directions and also offers a resealable pouch.
The latch patch product that we received was their Salonpas pain relief patch that is temporary relief of mild to moderate pain. Backache, sore muscles, sprains and bruises. This contains Menthol 3% and Methyl salicylate 10%. This patch is a little different you can apply this one for 8-12 hours. This comes in 9 large patches. This product you only use one patch at a time.
Then they offer a product Salonpas Lidocaine Plus. They offer this product in two options they offer it in a cream and a no mess roll on. Which has the same benefits of the product but different options of applying it. This has a 4% lidocaine maximum strength and 10% benzyl alcohol. This helps numbing effect to help the pain. This is unscented product. Both products comes in a 3fl oz bottle.
The next product is Salonpas Deep relieving gel. This product come in a 2.75 tube. This is a 3 powerful pain fighting ingredients and fast acting product. When rubbing it in the skin it absorbs quickly and is not greasy feeling after applying it. It helps relive join pain, neck pain, back pain and shoulder pain. This one is my favorite product out of all of them.
The last product that we received was their Jet Spray. This is a pain relieving spray. This spray be careful while your spraying. This is a great idea but in my household I am not sure this product would be safe when my kids like to spray everything. It is easy to spray and absorbs quickly. This comes in a 4fl oz bottle.
Overall I am very impressed with their products and all the products that they have to offer. The cater to everyones needs and have product that would benefit everyone. They have gels, patches and sprays so they give you options with their products. I would definitely check them out at your local store.
