Recently I was given the opportunity to be able to review The New Adventures of Gumby the 1980's Series Vol. 2. If I am being completely honest I have forgotten about Gumby. I remember when I was my daughter age I watched Gumby on the TV with my brother. I don't remember to much about this series, but was refreshed when I watched with my daughter.
About the Series: Welcome back Gumby and Pokey in this wild, wacky and inventive collection of 80's episodes! Featuring 49 clay-animated episodes, fully re-mastered from their original camera rolls and soundtracks. Also making appearances are Prickle, Goo, the Blockheads, Professor Kapp, Dr. Zveegee, the Moon Boggles, and Gumby's parents Gumbo and Gumba. New characters include Gumby's sister Minga, Denali the Mastodon and Tilly the chicken.
My son actually enjoyed this DVD collection more than my daughter did. My daughter lost interest during these episodes. My son on the other hand found it interesting. He liked the clay and the different animations during this series. I would recommend this for younger kids. My son has been watching and trying to make the clay animations himself. This was a hit in our home. You can get this on Amazon or your local retailer.
