Mushroom Garden Review

I love fun activities that I can do with my son. Also the benefit with this activity it is also educational. My son was very excited when we were able to review Mushroom Garden from Back to the Roots. Back to the Roots offers a kit where you can grow your very own oyster mushroom at home. What I like about this kit process is very easy and my 5 year old could do majority of it. This Mushroom Garden guarantees to give you two crops. Their are times that you can get three or more crops but that is not guaranteed. My son was very excited to try growing them for his grandpa. His grandpa loves mushrooms and he wanted to grow them special for him. The process was very easy here are the step of the kit and how you grow your own mushrooms. First step you open the box by pulling the front panel off, than you need to cut an X in the soil bag, than place the box indoors but away from direct sunlight, remove the bag from the box and let sit in water for 12 hours, put the soil bag back into the box and spray with water two times a day use the misting bottle that is with the kit. Than the waiting begins. I really had fun doing this activity with my son. Although we are still waiting for them to grow. Here are a few fun facts about this product that the soil is composed of recycled coffee grounds. Also the box is recyclable also. Than after you are doing growing your mushrooms you can start over on the other side. If you are looking for fun activities with your children I would recommend this product. It is easy and fun. You can guarantee your children will wake up every morning and rush to see if anything happen to their mushrooms.
