This Father's Day I have been trying to find my dad that special gift. I know when it comes to my dad it can be super hard to find him that special gift. When it comes to my dad there are a few important things to him besides family. He is religious and he loves to read. In his earlier days he used to be in the Knights of Columbus and it meant a lot to him.
When I learned about the book The Knight of Columbus and illustrated history. I knew that this would be the perfect book for him for Father's Day. When I looked at this book their was a lot of knowledge and information about the Knights of Columbus. When you look through this book you will find there is more than 500 colors illustrations that is found in this book. This book is about the history and all the sacrifices and the inspiring work that resides at the heart of this well meaning and civically minded fraternal organization. The history of this book is from 1882 founding by Father Michael J. McGiveny with a handful of Catholic men in New Haven, Connecticut to the present day. The knights have gone on to become an international brotherhood of almost 2 million members across the US and throughout the world.
When I gave this book to my father he was excited. You could tell the smile on his face how appreciated he was to receive this book. He spent the day looking through and reading some of the information. You could tell that he knew of some it due to being in the Knights. Although there was a lot of information that he didn't know but was excited to learn. You can find this book on barnes and noble.
