I know there are times where people can't enjoy peanut butter cups due to being allergic to peanut butter. To me I don't know what I would do if I couldn't have a peanut butter cup. We were able to try several different packs that they sent to me. The one out of the four that I really liked was their strawberry peanut butter cup. This one was different but I liked the flavors. I could really taste the strawberry and it tasted amazing. When trying this flavored cup you could get a bite of strawberry with every bite. My dad tried the dark chocolate one because dark chocolate is his favorite. I'm not a huge fan of dark chocolate. When he tried this chocolate flavor peanut butter cup he enjoyed it a lot. He said it was not bad at all.

Shrewd Food Healthy Snacks

During this quarantine it's been hard finding healthy snacks for my kids while they're at home. When I have been off from work and home with my kids I have  on the search for health snacks.  The first one that we tried was their Nacho Cheese. I was little nervous because I didn't know how well they were going to taste. I will be quite honest when I hear that they're 8 grams of protein and they're health for you. They must not taste good right? Usually anything that taste good isn't healthy for you. My dad and I tried the Nacho Cheese puffs and let me tell you they're amazing. They really taste like nacho cheese. I'm a fan of cheese balls and let me tell you these are better than cheese balls. Let me tell you they also hold a punch to them. The flavors were amazing. 

My kids like the sweeter ones that we received. My kids like the Strawberry and Creme, Oat & Berry, Cookies and Oats, and Cookies and Creme. They had these snacks between lunch and dinner. They enjoyed them a lot. They said they're very tasty. They would try to sneak them and wouldn't let the other have them. 

My dads thoughts on them that they were good. My dad usually won't try these products because he said they usually aren't good. When I had him try the nacho cheese and the baked cheese protein puffs he was surprised. He actually ate the whole package by himself. He said that Shrewd Food had gotten it right and that he would eat more of their products.

Made Good Snacks Healthy Snack Gift Guide 2020

Lots have changed since I been in school. I remember when we were allowed to bring snacks, but we didn't have to worry about all the allergies in school. Now in the schools you have to be super careful what you allow your children to bring into school. I know that my daughter struggles in finding a snack that she is allowed to bring. In her class their are several server allergies. She has a strict list of what she can't bring.

Recently I have been on a search for healthy snacks that my daughter can bring to school. I have found an amazing company called Made Good that makes healthy snacks that my daughter can bring to school. Although she was super excited to bring Made Good snacks to her school and show her friends. School is cancelled for the next three weeks. 

When my daughter went through the box to see what was inside she noticed the variety of different snacks. She was super excited and could not wait to try them. We received the cookies and the crispy bars. 

The first box that we took out to try was their Made Good Soft Baked Mini Cookies Apple Cinnamon. These are school safe free from peanut and tree nuts. They are organic. There are five packs in the box. My daughter tried them and she was surprised that she enjoyed the taste of these cookies. She was disappointed that she was not able to take them for her Girls on the run. These are the perfect size for after school activity snack. 

The next box that we received was their Soft Baked Mini Chocolate Chip. These are also school safe and come in 5 portion packs. Their portions is just the right size for the perfect snack. This one was my favorite. They taste pretty close to chocolate chip cookies. I would definitely bring this into work where I also have to be careful due to allergies. I work at CFA and we have to follow same rules as schools. 

The last pack of the cookies we received was their soft baked mini cookies Chocolate Banana. This one was my son favorite. He has a thing for banana and chocolate. He said out of three that this one was his favorite and that he would take this for his snack. My son said you taste the banana more than you taste the chocolate in these packets. My son said he needs two of them to fill him up. I tried explaining to him it just a snack and not a meal. He responded and said one pack is not good enough you need to because they are so good.

Then we received four different kinds of crispy squares. We received the Strawberry Crispy Squares, Carmel Crispy Squares, Chocolate Chip Crispy  and Vanilla Crispy Squares. My daughter said these are just like rice crispy treats in her own mind that what they are. They are similar. they are school safe which is nice. They are peanut and nut free. They are organic and made with veggies which is nice. In each box they come with 6 crispy. In our household we each have our favorites. They are a nice sweet treat that is no bad for you. That is actually healthy for you. My daughters favorite is the chocolate and strawberry crispy squares. She said they where unique. She liked the strawberry because said it was more fruity and the chocolate one was very tasty. My sons favorite is the Vanilla Crispy Square. He said these were simple and amazing. He snuck them in his room and ate them. He was a huge fan. My  was the carmel ones. They where unique. I am huge fan of carmel and that what made these. 

If you are looking for a healthy snack than you have found your snack. I would definitely recommend these for school snacks. I would let my daughter bring them to her after school activity. My Supplement Store Healthy Snacks 2020

During this hard time schools are shut down at least three weeks. When at home it gets a little tougher due to more activities to do at home. Trying to find snacks that are healthy for them and that they like. It can be a challenge to adjust this quickly. During this time in our state we are on lockdown and going to the grocery stores and a few other places. Finding food and snacks can also be hard to find during these times. 

Although if you you're savvy online you can find amazing companies who offer healthy snacks and treats. My Supplement Store offers a wide variety of supplements and items that are good for you. We were lucky that they sent us a few samples to review. My kids took the samples over very quickly and of course I was left with nothing.

The first product that we took out of the bag was their Smart Sweets-Sweet Fish. This comes in berry flavor and 1.8 oz package. This is a type of candy. Both kids went crazy over this one. They said it reminded them of Swedish fish which they absolutely loved. This package only has 3 grams of sugar so that was a plus.  This is a plant bases goodness, high in fiber, free from artificial sweeteners, peanut and tree nut free, free from artificial colors, and naturally flavored. Both kids had to share which was hard for both of them. They wanted their own bag. Which tells me that they really enjoyed Smart Sweets. They said they would highly recommend this sweet treat. 

The next treat that we pulled out was their Cloud10 Marshsmallow Crispy. They also have two other flavors beside the chocolate. They have birthday cake and original.  My son wanted to try this one. He is a big fan of this kind of treat and he also like coconut. Which has chocolate coconut in it. This comes in a 2.65 oz package. This great for on the go or just in between snack. My son said it was different but he liked it. He said he liked how you could taste the coconut flavoring. He recommended bring these with him when he goes camping or taking a hike. Which is a great idea. 

The last product that we took out of our bag was their Finaflex Oatmeal Protein. I had to have the kid share this one also. They were fighting over who got to try . I remember as a kid eating oatmeal cream pies when I was a child. As an adult I don't eat to many of them. My kids maybe tried them in the past, but they where excited to try this one. When they opened it they ate it right away. This has 340 calories, 12grams of fiber, 9 grams of sugar, non gmo and gluten free. They said it was amazing and soft and chewy and yummy. They wanted me to buy more of them. 

These were a nice treat for my kids when they where home. It has been rough couple weeks and this was a nice treat. I would definitely get more of these products and pack them with my kids when they return to school. I also would put them in my daughters backpack for after school when she has running and cheer.
