The first thing that I noticed about this kit that it was designed in festive  and colorful Mexican Art. This is a unique gift set that includes four 100% Himalayan Salt shot glasses. I have never seen anything like this before. They are cute and they come in handy. Also it will be the talk of the party. This kit also comes with a wooden serving tray. It also comes with a ceramic dish where you would put the limes.

What is neat that these shooters have a patented liner to keep the Tequila from becoming to salty. They are roughly about 3 inches big and hold 1.5 ounce of Tequila. The shooter shot glasses can be sold separately if you need more. 

What I find interesting about these shot glasses is that there is little care to clean them after use. It has pink Himalayan salt that is long lasting, naturally anti bacterial mineral so these glasses take a little care. When cleaning them make sure you don't put them in the dishwasher. This would ruin your shot glasses. All you need to do is wipe dry between each use. Then you can keep the shot glasses in the freezer for the perfect chill shot. 

When I saw this Himalayan Salt Tequila set I was impressed. Its a fun set to pull out while having a party. It has many cool aspects to it. The box itself is a topic to talk about. I know that our family loved dates. We usually put dates in our fruitcake around Christmas time. Dates are great for an afternoon snack also. Dates are great source of energy and great to eat. When I heard about MAGICdATES I knew that I had to give them a try. 

MAGICdATES offers a variety of dates in different flavors and even chocolate covered dates. How cool is that. If your not a huge fan of regular dates than you may be a fan of the new style kind of dates. They offer lemon, blueberry, coconut and chocolate covered.

I will admit that before now I never knew that they put flavors in dates. I was interested in trying the chocolate cover dates. That just seemed very yummy to me. That would be a great snack to pack on the go. It would be a great snack for the kids to put in their lunch or even pack in your lunch while your at work. 

These date snack bites give you the sustained energy throughout your day. For me personally I put a few of these in my purse, so when I'm on the go I have a bag ready for a snack. This is not only good for you wit will help sustain your energy when you need it. If you go to the gym this would be a great snack before or after workout. Its a sweet treat and it provides amazing engery.

Domino Sugar

Its summer time and its time to go to parties, graduations and other get togethers. It's always a treat when you bring your own dessert to the party. I know there are times where I try to find a good recipe and sometimes that is hard to do. We were excited that Domino Sugar sent us several recipes and their sugar to make some delicious treats. 

Domino Sent me a recipe to share.

Chocolate Chunk Cookies Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup and 2 tablespoon all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter softened

1/4 cup firmly packed Domino Dark Brown Sugar

2/3 cup Domino golden sugar

1 teaspoon of water

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup 6 oz dar chocolate chunks or chips

option 1/2 chopped walnuts

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line with parchment or grease cookie sheets.

Whisk or sift flower, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.

In mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy: then, beat in water, egg and vanilla. Gradually stir in flour mixture, chocolate chunks or chips, and optional nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto cookies sheets at least 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 minutes or until lightly brown. 

This is one of best chocolate chip cookie recipes. I know baking can't be possible with Domino's Sugar. I know that I always have a few bags on hand when I bake. You can go to their website and find more recipe for the summer.

Clif Bar

Are you looking for that extra boost in the morning or even the afternoon? Well I have the perfect product for you if you are. Clif Bar came out with new coffee flavor Clif Bars. I know when I'm at work that these bars come in handy. They are a perfect snack or that perfect pick me up when you need that extra boost. 

The three new flavors that we took a look at was their Dark Chocolate Mocha, Carmel Macchiato, and Vanilla Almond Latte. The first Clif Bar that we took a look at was their Dark Chocolate Mocha Flavor. This comes in a Fudgy Dark chocolate that is accented with roasted coffee notes. This has a bit of dark chocolate mocha and crunchy chocolate covered organic coffee beans, all in one. This will help you get that extra boost that you are looking for during the day.

The second bar that we took a look at was their Caramel Macchiato Flavor. This one is my favorite out of three that I was able to try. This has an amazing flavor of rich, buttery caramel and roasted coffee flavors that come together. I noticed when I was trying this bar that it had a crunchy chocolate cover organic coffee beans. This also has white mocha pieces to add to the flavor. 

The last flavor that we tried was their Vanilla Almond Latte. I will admit at first I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this flavor. I was pleasantly surprised on how much I enjoyed it. This has a creamy vanilla-flavored coffee blended with crunchy, chocolate covered organic coffee beans, white mocha chunks and roasted almonds to give it that extra boost. This one will leave you wanting more.

All three Clif Bars were pleasantly a great surprised. I know that I have tried their regular bars in the past and they are amazing. Although I never thought of the combination of Clif Bars and coffee. If you are a coffee fein I would recommend trying these coffee bars out. Spice Madam

Do you have a cook in the family? Are you looking for a special gift for that special cook? Than you may want to take a look at the subscription service Madam Spices. What makes this subscription service special is that it will take you to destinations around the world. 

When we received our Madam Spices subscription box in the mail it came in a small rectangular box. When we opened it up we got some cute cut up paper with a note from their company which was a nice touch. After removing the paper we came to a nice wrapped up tissue paper with a sticker which added a nice touch to the box. We gently opened up the tissue paper to see what was inside. 

When I opened up the tissue paper the first card that I took out of the box said Biennvenue France. That is when I know that my box would feature spices from France. On this card it said welcome to France. It gave you a list of did you know facts. Which was nice learning a few things about France. Then we received three little bags of spices that we can use for the recipes that they included. We received the Herbs De Provence, Nutmeg and French Lavender. Then they provided 5 recipes in the box that you could use your spices for. They gave you a variety of different spices to make wonderful foods that our featured over in the French culture. Then they provided a card that shows you the France shopping list and menu plan and cooking guide. The last card is French Spice where it describes the spices that they sent you and the descriptions of them. 

Overall this is a fun box and it would make the perfect gift for someone who loves to cook. This would be a fun subscription box that they would receive in the mail and they would be able to use this on new recipes for the family. Silver Spring

During the summer months I love cooking out on the grill. I also love having a nice hamburger and hotdog. The one condiment that I know that I have to put on my hotdog or burger is mustard. My daughter asked me a question the other day and asked me why are there so many different kinds of mustard. I explained to her it depends on what your making that different mustards come in handy. Sometimes you want an extra kick, or you just want plain mustard. 

Recently I was introduced to a company called Silver Spring. They offer a variety of different kinds of mustard on their website. When I checked out their website I noticed a few things that stood out to me. They have a tab where you can find recipes that you can try. This incorporates the different mustards that they offer on their website. I also enjoyed reading about the heritage of Silver Spring. 

When we received our mustard package in the mail. I was quite impressed with the presentation. It came in a nice box that showed a picture of a farm. The box Also had their name on the top. I also liked how the lid had their social media information and their website. When I opened up the box it was sectioned off in six different spot that had the mustard in those slots. 

The first mustard that we pulled out of the box was their Beer and Mustard. This came in a 9.5 oz bottle. This mustard has a flavor profile which I thought that was neat. This mustard flavor profile: the texture is more coarse than yellow or dijon mustard with eye-watering heat and a broad range of mustard flavors. This mustard goes will with Bratwurst and sauerkraut, deli style sandwiches, summer sausage, deviled eggs, pretzels and beer. 

The next sauce that we took out of the box was their Sriracha Sauce. This comes in a 8.5 fl oz bottle. This Sriracha Sauce is mane with sun-ripened chilies, garlic, and smoothed into pure creamy goodness that spice up any dish that you are making. The flavor to this Sriracha Sauce is creamy and tangy with a bold and spicy chili flavor. I was surprised with the dishes that they recommend this sauce for. Although I'm interested in trying it. The recommend dishes are Fish Tacos, Sandwiches, wraps and burgers, sweet potato fries, roasted vegetables, and Seared Ahi tuna or salmon. 

The next mustard we took out of the box was their Jalapeno Mustard. This has jalpeno peppers in this mustered and they are known for their distinctive flavor as much as their heat. The flavoring of this mustard is a tangy yellow mustard with the spicy heat and rich flavor of Jalapeno peppers. This Jalapeno Mustard will pair well with hamburgers, potato salad, hot dogs, corn dogs, cuban sandwiches and pretzels.

One of my dads new favorite sauces that they sent was their Applewood Smoke Flavored Horseradish Sauce. This sauce has a creamy texture to it with a slightly sweet and you taste a little bit of smokey flavored.  You will defitinely taste the horseradish in this sauce. This Applewood Smoke Horseradish is recommended for baked or grilled salmon, grilled steak, potatoes, hot beef sandwich and great for dips.

 Then we took a look at one of their original mustards. The Dijon Mustard that goes with almost anything. I consider this one of the classics for my family. They took a spin on the Dijon Mustard blends the flavors of white wine and mustard seed into a gourmet spark that will compliment any meal. The flavor of this mustard is a tangy and full bodied dijon with a creamy smooth texture. This pairs well with chicken, salmon, sandwiches and vinaigrette.

The last mustard that we took out of the box was their Chipolte Mustard. If you like heat than this mustard is for you. They have the classic chipotle pepper into the versatility of mildly spicy mustard. The flavor of this mustard is a smokey, peppery mouth watering body with a semi-coarse texture and a tangy finish. This pairs well with bratwurst, sandwiches, chicken tenders, cheese platters, and sour cream to make a taco dip.

Long Drink

Are you looking to enjoy the summer with a new kind of drink? I know during the summer I'm always looking to bring something unique to that bbq or that bonfire. With Long Drink I can bring something unique and share it with my friends. This drink is unique because I would say it similar to a soda with tad bit of liquor.

We were excited that we were able to take a look at their traditional flavor and their Cranberry flavor. The Finnish Long Drink come in a 6 pack of 12 oz cans. This can is a traditional long drink that is a citrus soda with a premium liquor kick, an incredibly crisp and refreshing taste to it. I was quite surprised how amazing it tasted. I was not sure at first if I would like it at first. The Alc. By Vol. 5.5% .

The next flavor that we got to try was their cranberry flavor. The Finnish Long Drink Cranberry come in a 6 pack of 12 oz cans. You can get this cranberry drink for a limited time only. I like how this drink tastes like summer. It has that carbonation and almost like a soda pop, but has the cranberry taste that everyone loves.

I remember when it was near christmas time and walking downtown you could smell toasted almonds. Even times going to the mall you walk past the little cart that has toasted almonds for sale. I remember that smell and it smell amazing. I always wished there was a way to be able to toast them at home and now there is!!

Blum Toasty Almonds offers a variety of different flavor kits. As of right now there several different flavors that they offer. They also offer bundles for purchase. We were excited to receive Garlic Parmesan and Spicy Chili Lime. These kits come in 6.1 oz. 

The first kit that we took a look at was their Spicy Chili Lime. This comes in a 6.1 oz and individual pack of one. What is nice is that this comes in a plastic container to keep your fresh almonds fresh and ready to toast. This container of almonds contains 6g of protein per serving. This is naturally gluten free. The ingredients are almonds, almond oil, sea salt, organic spice, organic ancho chili powder, citric acid, lime oil, and lime juice powder. 

The next kit is their Garlic Parmesan. This comes in a 6.1 ounce and a individual pack. Inside you will find fresh almonds ready for toasting. The ingredients for this flavor is almonds, almond oil, Organic Parmesan Cheese Powder, Pasteurized Organic Milk, Sea Salt, Cheese Cultures, Enzymes, Disodium Phosphates, Organic Garlic Powder, Sea Salt, Citric Acid, Yeast Extract, Organic Spice, Lemon Oil, Organic Mustard Powder and Lemon Juice.

What I like about these kits is that they have instructions on the package it self. It also gave instruction on the box that it came in. You have to options on how to toast your almonds. You can either toast them in the microwave for and easy options or you can toast them in the oven. When I toast mine I will do it in the oven because I believe the oven is a better option. I was introduced to Kiwi Importer and their company is pretty unique. I haven't found a company like this one yet. What is unique about this company is that the owner is from New Zealand. Then her and her husband relocated her on business. Then we were lucky that she created Kiwi Importer and her products gives us a taste of her home country which is amazing. 

We were able to try their Tomato Ketchup that is 100% Sweetened By Veggies. This is made in New Zealand from 100% New Zealand Vegetable. This comes ing 475g bottle. What is unique about this product is that it is the worlds first tomato ketchup sweetened with 100% New Zealand vegetables. What is nice is that they have a ketchup contains no other sweeteners natural or artificial. You will find no stevia or no aspartame. The only thing they found in this ketchup is New Zealand vegetables. 

When trying this ketchup I noticed that this ketchup has a thick consistency. What I like about this ketchup then the other ketchup that we usually have is that it can be runny or liquid. This one is very thick and incredible full. What I like that this ketchup is a full tomato ketchup taste. This has no sugary ketchup which is amazing.

The third drink that we took a look at was their Meyer Lemon Ginger. This is a lightly carbonated beverage naturally flavored with meyer lemon and ginger. This also has probiotics. This drink combines the concepts in a shelf stable drink to from a unique digestive health beverage.

Amelia Toffee

I will admit that I have a sweet tooth and I love all types of candy. I will admit I'm a huge fan of toffees. Although I will admit that I haven't had toffee in awhile and usually I get the toffee at the store. The store toffee is ok, but when I was able to try Amelia Toffee it was like tasting a piece of heaven. 

Amelia Toffee offers a variety of handmade toffees. That are made of perfection. We were excited when we were able to try four of their toffees. We were sent Sea Salt, Orange Bliss Toffee, Coffee Toffee and Bourbon Toffee.

The first toffee that we took a look at was their Bourbon Toffee. This came in a little cute box with the toffee inside. When I took the box out I liked out their was a ribbon wrapped around it and the label on the front letting me know what it was. Their Bourbon Toffee is mixed with a fine handcrafted bourbon which creates the perfect flavor profile of caramel and dark chocolate with a hint of oak. You will find every toffee piece sprinkled with roasted salted California almonds that give it that extra boost. 

The next flavor that we were able to try was their Coffee Toffee. If you are a huge coffee person like my dad is then this toffee is a great choice for you. This coffee flavor toffee is unique and has a bit of tradition in this recipe. What is unique about this recipe is that the coffee is brewed into their buttery toffee. Which to me is just unique. Then after doing that its then enrobed in dark chocolate. Then finishing touches it sprinkled with roasted salted California Almonds. This toffee is definitely my dads favorite out of the four. 

The next toffee that we were able to try was their Sea Salt Toffee and this was amazing and was my personal favorite. With the Sea Salt Caramel it was a little bit of heaven in your mouth and it was amazing.I had to force myself to put it down so I wouldn't eat it all in one setting. Their Sea Salt Toffee is their most traditional flavor using their grandmother's recipe. They cover every toffee piece with dark chocolate and sprinkle it with roasted salted almonds and for the final touch they dust it with seal salt.

The last toffee that we were able to try was their Orange Bliss Toffee. I was a little skeptic when I saw the name of this toffee and wasn't sure if I would like. This another unique toffee blend that they offer on their website. Since they are based in Florida they take advantages of the oranges that grow in Florida. They use the orange oil that is hand mixed in their buttery toffee. Which is unique to me and you can taste the orange with the dark chocolate and it taste amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and how amazing it was. 

These toffees were a treat. I would recommend them for a snack, treat, gift you name it. You will not go wrong with the toffees that they offer. I also like how they offer different shopping options. Kabaki Purple Tea

My dad is a huge fan of teas and when he heard about Kenyan Kabaki Purple tea he was quite intrigued. I will admit that I never heard about Kenyan Kabaki Purple tea before. You will find this tea high in the valleys and mountain tops of Kenya. What is amazing is that you will find the fields of purple tea leaves glistening in the hot African sun.

This plant is the same single plant, Cameilla Sinesis, that gives us all our green and black teas. What is neat is that the African sun coupled with cool mountain air allow ultraviolet rays to deeply penetrate the tea leaves and bam the purple leaves are born.

Trees Knees Coffee Maple

I'm a huge maple syrup fan. I love maple syrup on pancakes, waffles, ice cream you name it. So when I came across Trees Knees Coffee Maple I knew this would fit in my morning routine. This syrup can be used on pancakes if you like. Although let me tell you that it taste great in coffee. I like putting this syrup in my coffee to sweeten it up a little bit.

This syrup is a rich maple syrup from the Catskill Mountains is infused with Stumptown Coffee Roasters Hair Bender Blend, creating multidimensional tasting notes or dark chocolate, cherry, toffee, and fudge.

One of my favorite product that I use on a daily basis is Hidden Valley Ranch. I use my ranch on almost everything like chicken strips, fries, salads and so much more. When I think about Hidden Valley all I think about is Ranch. I was not aware that they offer a variety of different products. I was excited to take a look a few of their new product that they have to offer. 

The first new product that we took a look at was their Hidden Valley The Original Ranch Secret Sauce. This is a smokehouse which is savoy and smooth. This comes in a amazing bottle that has a great squeeze tip that make using this product that much easier. this comes in a 12 oz bottle. This has a a great smokey flavor to the sauce. What I really like about this sauce is that you can use it on chicken strips, burgers, hot dogs and even fries. This taste amazing and I would highly recommend adding this sauce to your entrees. 

The next new sauce that we took a look at was their Hidden Valley Ranch Blasted Dipping Sauce. This sauce is Blazing Hot. This sauce is for my dad and son. I'm not a huge fan of really hot sauce. I tried a little bit and boy is this hot. It hotter that I can handle, but it tasted amazing. This is a very blazing sauce that has buttermilk, habanero pepper, onion and vinegar flavor. This is great for all different kind of food, but I personally would recommend putting it on your burger. 

The last sauce that we took a look at was their Hidden Valley Ranch Secret Sauce Spicy. This is similar to the first sauce that we took a look at, but this one has more of a kick to it. If your like my dad and likes that extra kick to it then this would be for you. This is a spicy ranch flavor to your next meal. When trying this sauce its a creamy texture to it. This great if you want to give your tacos that extra kick. I would highly recommend this sauce.

The next line of product that we got to try was their Hidden Valley Ranch Deluxe Cheese Ranch Dip Garlic Parmesan. Personally I am a huge fan of Parmesan and Romano cheeses. So when I learned about this new cheese I knew that I had to try it. This is a blend of Parmesan and Romano Cheese, garlic, herbs, and spices enhance every bite. 

The last item that we took a look at was their Hidden Valley Ranch Cheese and Ranch Dip. This is a decadent pairing of aged to perfection cheddar and the classic ranch taste you crave. Perfect for veggie platters or your favorite snacks. This is great for on the go dip. 

I was excited to try a few of their new products and they were amazing. I was quite impressed with the quality and taste of their products. Before now I only thought that Hidden Valley Ranch was ranch and not the other product that they have to offer. I would recommend using their cheese spreads at a party. The last Recipe is RumChata Breakfast in Bed. This is 2 part RumChata Limon. 1 part Blueberry Vodka.
