Cafe Ama is a social impact arabica coffee, ethically grown in Puerto rico. 100% of the sales of Cafe Ama contribute to developing entrepreneurship opportunities for women and children.

I wanted to share with you the story of Ama because the story needed to be told. Ama is a 10-year-old girl who was born in Las Marias, Puerto rico in the mountainous region of the island. Her parents named her in honor of the flower Amapola, but she goes by "Ama", which in the Spanish languages means "to love".

She was fascinated by the magic coffee beans stories told by her beloved great-grandfather Tono, the coffee farmer who's coffee made it all the way to the Vatican City. Ama decided to plant her own coffee with a collection of magical seeds that survived hurricane Maria.

Ama represents the power of youth and shows how with one small step, a positive mind and a lot of curiosity and enthusiasm one can make a big difference. She is a young entrepreneur who sells the best coffee to delight others and have them fall in love with the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. In the process, she educates children at risk, helping them to escape poverty through the power of coffee.

This is a great blend to invest it not just because it amazing blend it also has an amazing story to tell. The blend is made with 100% arabica beans from Puerto Rico. This came in a whole bean which you will have to ground to your preference. The blend has an amazing aroma to it. When my dad tried this blend in the morning he absolutely loved the blend.  If you would like to find out more about Cafe Ama story or where to buy their coffee check out their website.
