One of the Hot it toys this years is the Boxy Girls. Of course my daughter new about this toy way before I did. I am always late to the game and knowing what popular toys are. When my daughter found out that we would be receiving the Boxy Girls Big Box. She started to freak out and started jumping up and down saying YAY.

When it arrived it came in a cute box that looked like shipping box. It was pictured of boxy girls on the front and surprise boxes. She was totally stoked when it arrived in the mail. She was very excited and she was freaking out. The box contains two new exclusive Boxy Girls and you will not know which ones you will get until you open up your package. Which my daughter has a thing for blind bags and not knowing what she will get. I think the suspense always kill hers and brings so much excitement for her. 

She couldn't wait to dump everything from her box onto the floor to see what is inside. There was 28 shipping boxes that include dresses, shoes and accessories for your boxy girl. Which is a lot of fun. I really like that they come in mini shopping boxes it just makes it more real and a lot fun. Overall this one was of my daughters favorites toys this year. This one made her the most excited and now she wants me to buy her more. The toys were well made and durable. It coming close to holiday season and it is time to think about what you are going to get your kiddos for Christmas. This season it seems like there are many different options that are out there. One toy this year is Wish My Puppy. Wish me Puppy is an interactive toy that your child will adore. 

This Wish Me Puppy comes in 6 different colors for your child to choose from. Also what I found interesting is that they offer unicorns also if your child does not want a puppy. The puppies are interactive also they bark, whimper, giggle, whoopsie and they light up.

When my daughter took it out of the package she feel instantly in love with her Wish Me Puppy. The puppy was very soft and cuddly. I know as a parent I made sure that this puppy that lights up would be safe for her to sleep with at night. This plush is safe to sleep with at night and if it lights up it has a shut off time limit. Which is nice that it has this feature which lets me know that she can sleep with it and it is safe. 

My daughter favorite feature about her puppy is that when she kisses her nose that her nose her bow lights up. My daughter continued to do this step because she thought it was the coolest thing ever. She made a wish than she blew a kiss at the bow and it shut off when she made her wish. This is a fun interactive toy and make a great toy that you can sleep with.

My daughter recently has been getting into DIY own kits. Recently she has been obsessed with different kind of slimes and making different kinds of doughs. When I was introduced to a company called Canal Toys I knew that my daughter would fall in love with this company and products that they had to offer. 

My daughter was excited when we received a couple products from Canal toys that she got to play with. The first product that we received for review was their Magic Jar Mini Kits. This is a very unique kit that was a lot of fun. What is great about this kit is that it does not make a huge mess and your child can do this on their own without it being messy. This kit is where you make your own glow light in a jar which is really cool and may daughter had a lot of fun making it. It also gave you a few surprises to go along with it. It also had a character surprise so it adds to the suspense to the kit. Which my daughter had a lot of fun finding out which character she was going to get. These kits are very reasonable price and would make great stocking stuffers for Christmas. You can also find this kit at your local retailer. 

The next product that we received was Power Dough and this one was one of her favorite DIY kits that she received so far. My daughter loves unicorns and when she saw that it was a unicorn on the package she started flipping out. Power Dough is where you bring your dough to live and create animated dough unicorns. When you use the dough it conducts like magic to activate the accessories to move and light up. My daughter thought that was amazing. This kit includes 2 dough pots, 6 interchangeable accessories, 2 power parts with batteries. She had a ball making her own creations and brining them to life.

I will be honest with you that I have never heard of Canal Toys before. Although getting to know this company and products that they offer I am glad that I have found them. Brain Blocks Holiday Gift Guide 2018

When my children were younger they used to love playing with blocks. When they started getting older they grew out of their block sets. At times I wished that they had block sets for older kids where they could still build with their imagination. 

That is when I came across the company Brain Bloxs which is the next step up from building blocks. Brain Blocxs comes in different sets for example 100, 200, and 300. We received the 200 set of Brain Bloxs for review. In this set you receive 200 plank like blocks for you to build. What I like about these blocks is that it is educational and help explore math, physics and engineering concepts through hands on building. This is a great STEM toy for children. I know I have mentioned STEM in my previous post but for a quick refresher it stands for science, technology, engineering  and mathematics.

What I think that is unique about this company is that they give children different option of different things that they can build. They also have directions that will help the children build different things. For example the can build trains, chairs, building and robots with these blocks. This toy does take patients from kiddos because you have to put them in the correct spot. 

Overall I would highly recommend Brain Blox for your children and for a holiday gift. The blocks are smooth and 100 percent all natural, precision cut, chemical free and New Zealand pine wood. Sometimes I wish I was a kid because in this generation there are some pretty cool toys out there. I know when I was a child I was into art and crafts and I loved to draw and create things. My son also has that interest in art and drawing. He likes making animation and creating 3d art.

We were excited when we received their 3Doodler Start Make Your Own HEXBUG Creature 3d Pen. When my son saw this kit he was super excited to see how it worked and what it is all about. 

This kit is geared for ages 6 and above. What great about this product if you can hold the pen you can create something special with the 3doodler. All you need to do is take the plastic inserts and click and then you can make your own creations. 

This kit helps your kiddo be an inventor and you can use the doodle molds to create insect body parts for your HEXBUG. What is awesome that your child can personalize their own creations. You can create your Hexbug and let it crawl around and explore. What my son loves about this kit is that he can design his own creations and make his own robotic structures. 

As a parent I like that this kit is perfect for the STEM learning. Which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.  In previous review posts you will see me mentioning STEM and this great that toy companies are incorporating this in their products. It helps kids learn while playing and they do not know they are even learning through play.

When your a mom you are always looking for something small to take in the car or when your going to different places to keep your kiddos occupied. I know for me it can be difficult to keep them occupied. When I came across a company called Kittd they intrigued me. They are moms who started a business to make life easier for parents- whether is's portable activities for when you're waiting with kids, party favor packs that won't go straight in the trash or geeky gifts that make you smile. 

They make small kits that fit in a small tin container that you can fit in your pocket and take with you. It travel size that your kids can fit in their pockets and bring with them on the bus or car and keep them occupied. 

We were excited that we received four different tins for review. The first kit we received was their Hello On the Go correspondence kit. It contains everything you need. With this kit you are able to make mini letters. The kit includes a travel tin, mini notecards and envelopes, mini 10 color pen, two double sided stamper.

The second kit that we received was their Michelangelo On-the-go. Which your little kiddo can make something out of clay. Which my children loved this kid. I am not sure if I would let them do this one in the car though. This kit includes a travel tin, play mat, set of mini clay, and 2 wooden sculpting tools.

The third kit that we received was their Puppet Show on the go. This was a lot of fun for my daughter in the car. Hearing her and the shows that she is putting on in the backseat was a lot better then listening to the radio. This kit contains a travel tin, 2 handmade, fair trade puppets, 4 backdrops and 2 backdrop stands. 

The last kit that we received was their ROBO tic tac toe on the go. This one both of my kids liked playing in the car together. This one was a lot of fun for the kids and I even like playing with this one when we are out to eat. This one helps to keep them occupied during the wait. This kit contains a travel tin, 10 magnetic tic tac toe pieces: 5 blue robots & 5 yellow robots.

Big Feet Pajamas Holiday Gift Guide Review

Have you thought about getting matching pjs for over the holidays? I have thought about that quite often. Recently I came across a website called Big Feet PJS. They offer a variety of family onesies that you can purchase. They have adults onesies, drop seat pjs, kids, family sets, jumpsuits, footless and dog pjs. 

We were lucky to get a review package from Big Feet. When we opened our review package we received a pair of kids red fleece footed pj and dog hoodie red fleece. 

The one thing that I did not know about Big Feet Pajamas  Onesies are purposely oversized to allow for maximum comfort, flexibility and maneuverability while relaxing. What I like about this company is that they make the pj bigger than the size you ordered so when you wash them and shrink they will be the size you ordered. Which I think that feature is really cool and thoughtful.

When we received the dog flannel it was a little to small for our cockapoos but we tried to put it on penny. Penny didn't mind that we tried to put it on her she seemed to like it. It was a little flannel hoodie. She did not like hoodie part and that is when I took it off her. It was very soft and seemed to be comfortable.  

When my daughter saw the footed hoodie red flannel onesie she made the comment that it looked like baby clothes. Then she took it in her hands and rushed to her room and wanted to put them on right away. When we took them out of the package they looked super comfortable and they were very soft. They fit her just right and the foot were just the right measurements. We were definitely pleased.

Perfume is a girls best friend and I am always looking around for new perfumes. I like to treat myself when I go out with a little perfume. Pressman Toy Hydro Strike Holiday Gift Guide REview

Hydro Strike is one of my kids favorites games that was sent to us for the holidays. This game I was gladly to let them play by their selves. This game is a lot of fun and it also a lot of fun to watch. The reason why I let them play and not partake in the action is because I did not want to get wet from playing this game. 

When I learned about this game they compared it to pin ball. I would compare it to air hockey but you use the pin ball clickers to shoot the ball. This is a fun simple game for kids to learn. All they have to do is put the ball down and shoot and try to score. Who ever scores the person who lost will get wet. Who ever get wet five times looses and the other person wins. Mastermind by Pressman Games Holiday Gift Guide

Mastermind by Pressman Toys is the perfect game for my ten year old son. This game is where you try and crack a code. There are two players to this game. There is a code maker and a code cracker. Which is a lot of fun. There is a spot at the end of the game where one player will come up with the code. There are four different colors that you can choose from. You are also allowed to use the same color twice. 

Once the coder makes up the code there is a shield that you can put over the code, so the code cracker will not be able to see the code. The code cracker get ten tries to break the code. They have ten slots to put down the color they believe is in the code. Each try the code breaker will put white or red pegs to let the code breaker know if they have any matches in that code. This repeats until the code is broken or the tenth try. Then the code is revealed. 

My son likes this game, but for me i get frustrated. My son is very good at this game and can figure out the codes. It a game where you put your critical thinking skill to use. It brings hours of fun and trying to break the code. You can find this game at Pressman Toys.

I remember as a child when I played with tops as a child. Where I would spend hours spinning them around and just messing around. Here is a description of the different games that are offered. Compass mode is where you spin the right code to unlock a real compass. Pi is no math involved here spin 314 for pi. UFO is to spin 606 for an animation that is out of this world. Airplane prepare for takeoff, spin 747 for a high flying surprise. Cupid love will have you spinning on 214. The 99 challenge spin to 99 exactly to unlock cool animations. Top score practice your best spins and beat the high score. Jackpot you're a winner if you spin 777. This top spinner is so much fun. It is easy to play with and also challenging. What I do like about the tops is when you start spinning them they light up while your are spinning them. They do have a screen where you can see how many time it spins. After it is done you spin again you can see previously what you scored and what is the recent score. This game is fun and challenging because there are different scores you need to try and get and it will take a lot of practice you get there.

Hoyle Playing Cards Holiday Gift Guide

The kids are going to have a few breaks from school coming up in the next few weeks and always trying to find them something to do is a tough task for a momma sometimes. The one thing that can keep them occupied is card games. There are many different options with card games we can invite friends over and they can play them or use them as a family night activity.

Recently I was introduced to a company called Hoyle. Hoyle is a brand that was first established by Englishman Edmond Hoyle 1672-1769, Hoyle playing cards have set the standard for quality and trust. Today, Hoyle is dedicated to creating card games that kids and adults love. He also wanted families learning lessons and making memories together.

We received five games for review. My kids were very excited they came in fun card boxes and they where ready to play. 

The first game is one of my favorites it is called Sharks Are Wild. What I also like about this game that it was easy for my daughter to pick up and understand. The goal of this game is to be the first player to collect five gold coins. How to win a gold coin is that you need to create a sequence in your had of five numbered cards. For example 2,3,4,5,6 if you get a shark card that is wild and you can replace one number in your sequence that you need to be able to complete your sequence. I like the simple game but there is a level two that you can learn after you learn level one, to make it a little more of a challenge for you.

The second game that we received was their Piggy Bank. This game I like because it is education and that it will help children with basic math skills. This game helps kids 4-6 learn how to add and subtract by fives and tens. The goal of the game is try to force another player to break the bank by putting too many coins inside the bank. This game is recommend for 2-4 players and each game starts by drawing a piggy bank card that sets the limit of coins the bank will hold for that hand. You will be dealt five cards and you need to try to come with that amount and not break the bank there are some special cards like pig out and oink oink cards. This game is a lot of fun. 

The next game that we played was their Catch N'Fish. This game is recommend for kids ages 4-6 and they get to become stars. This game is recommend for 
2-4 players and it a easy game to play that makes adding and subtracting fun. The dealer passes out seven cards to each player and the game begins when the first player spins the wheel. When the person spins the wheel and it lands on a number if you have those cards in your hand for example you land on a five. You have a 7 and a 2 you have a catch. Or you have 2 and a 3 you have a catch. There are times where you can make several catches in a single spin. The first player to make five catches is the winner. This game is a lot of fun. 

The next game that we received was their Monkey May I. This is a very cute game that reminds me of Simon Says. This game is for 2-4 players and is recommended for kids ages 4-6. This game is easy to set up and play and includes elements of the kid favorite simon says. This game helps reinforce your children's social skills like making good choices, self awareness and self control with entertaining and fast actions game. Monkey May I is a fun game for younger children you will flip over an action card and make good choices and collect Monkey Money. The player with the most Monkey Money at the end of the game is the winner. 

The last game that we received was Super Me. If your child loves super heroes than this game is for them. This game is recommend for ages 4-6 years old and recommend to 2-4 players. This game is based on your child's emotional intelligence and includes element of kid favorites like Memory and Matching! With easy set up and taking turns matching the situation to the emergency, you can reinforce social skills like making good choices, helping other and having empathy. What you do is flip over and emergency card and make a super me. Match a superhero. This game is a lot of fun and your kiddos will love it.

It is always tough trying to find my son a gift that he will like around Christmas time. When it comes to my daughter she is simple and like everything. When it comes to my son it take days to figure out what he would like at Christmas.

We were lucky that Master Pieces sent us 500 piece Helmet Shaped Puzzle of the Pittsburgh Steelers. This would make an amazing gift for any Pittsburgh Steelers fanatic! In this box for the puzzle features 5 individual sports shaped pieces added to the fun. This puzzle measuring 25''x22".

My son absolutely thought this puzzle was amazing. He thought at first it was an ordinary puzzle but to his surprise it was shape of a helmet. He thought that was the coolest thing imaginable. When he was putting the puzzle together we noticed that it was a little bit of a challenge for him to, but helping him was a lot of fun. The pieces went together great and they did not fall apart which was nice. When we get the puzzle all put together we are going to glue it and put it in my sons room afterwards. I have great kits that you use with your kids over holiday break. These amazing kits come from Griddly Games where you play explore and empower. These kits are STEAM expired. Steam stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. This is great to have these type of activities for your children for over the holidays. 

The first kit that we received was their Just Add Glue kit and this retails around 24.99. It comes in a cute container with all the supplies that you need. This kit is perfect for my daughter because my daughter has been into putties and stretchy different creations. In this kit you create different forms of super stretchy polymers and make them bounce. In this kit you can create putties that can be picked up, stretched, and even rolled into a ball that bounces. While using the same ingredients create an array of creative crafts that you can keep, like crystals and window clings. This kit is recommend for ages 6 and up. My daughter was able to do this by herself with a little bit of supervision and it was very easy for her to do. She enjoyed making different putties from this kit. I would highly recommend this activity for kids. 

The next activity that we received was their Just Add Milk. When we took this out of the box it was in a cute milk carton with the supplies that you need. In this kit you have an art kit for 1 or more players recommended for ages 5 and up. This contains the materials that are needed to create your own natural sciences experiments at home. You can learn a brief introduction to surface tension and experiment with at home ingredients such as food colour, soda pop and vinegar to watch what happens when you just add the simple ingredient milk. This kit my son did and he had a lot of fun doing the different activities and it was very simple to follow the directions.

Overall these would make great stocking stuffers and the kits were a lot of fun. They also offer other STEAM kits for children and they would be a lot of fun to do over the holiday season. Endless Game Holiday Gift Guide 2018

We were excited that we were able to add a few more games to our family game night collection. Endless Games offers a variety of different games like party games, family games, card games, dice games, and kids games. All games are made in the USA. We were able to receive three games for review and they where Everybody Knows, Floor is Lava and Sleepover Party Game. 

Floor is Lava is a very fun game that I found very creative. I know as a child we played similar games to this one. I remember playing on the playground at elementary school where we could not set off on the wood chips. If you did you were out of the game and you lost. In this game you have to use your imagination and pretend that the floor is lava and you can not set foot on it. The object of the game is the floor is lava and while spinning for their color and jumping along foam game pieces in order to reach to safety. What I also like about this game while play it is incorporating physical activity.  What the game contains is 25 colored foam safety stones, 27 challenge cards,  and 1 game spinner card with arrow and base. This game is recommend for 2-6 players  and recommend for ages for 5 and up. As a mom I like this game for my children it brings laughs, giggles and lots of fun. It creates physical activity and a lot of creativity while playing. This game will bring the family together through play. 

The next game we received for review was Everybody Knows. This is a newer game from Endless game. This one my kids weren't able to play due to them be a little to young for this game. This is a trivia game which would be great for holiday parties. Example of questions that are asked in this game are what is the capital of California?  Who played Forrest Gump? What is 5x 16? This game is about answering questions everybody knowns the answers to. Here is the kicker is that you have to answer these question in 60 seconds or less. Yes the answer seem to be easy, but what happens when you are under pressure and trying to go for 10 for 10 in 60 seconds. What comes in this game is 500 playing cards, 1 sand timer, 1 dry erase maker and 1 scorecard. This game is for 2 or more players and recommended for ages 12 and up. 

The last game that we received in our box was Sleepover Party Game. This is the perfect game if your playing a sleepover party over the holidays. This would be the perfect game to bring out during sleepovers. This game has challenges for you to partake in. There are over 200 challenges that you have to act t, work it or party. All you have to do is spin the spinner and attempt to complete the challenges. This game will have you having fun and being silly. Prepare to laugh, sing and perform. This game will come with 85 act it cards, 75 work it cards and 40 party cards and one spinner. This game is ideal for 3 or more players and ages 8 and up. This game will have your kids having so much fun during their sleep over parties. It is a must have!

Overall these game are so much fun for the family and for party games. I really liked the game where you have to watch out for lava. During holiday parties break out the trivia and have some fun.
