Amelia Toffee

I will admit that I have a sweet tooth and I love all types of candy. I will admit I'm a huge fan of toffees. Although I will admit that I haven't had toffee in awhile and usually I get the toffee at the store. The store toffee is ok, but when I was able to try Amelia Toffee it was like tasting a piece of heaven. 

Amelia Toffee offers a variety of handmade toffees. That are made of perfection. We were excited when we were able to try four of their toffees. We were sent Sea Salt, Orange Bliss Toffee, Coffee Toffee and Bourbon Toffee.

The first toffee that we took a look at was their Bourbon Toffee. This came in a little cute box with the toffee inside. When I took the box out I liked out their was a ribbon wrapped around it and the label on the front letting me know what it was. Their Bourbon Toffee is mixed with a fine handcrafted bourbon which creates the perfect flavor profile of caramel and dark chocolate with a hint of oak. You will find every toffee piece sprinkled with roasted salted California almonds that give it that extra boost. 

The next flavor that we were able to try was their Coffee Toffee. If you are a huge coffee person like my dad is then this toffee is a great choice for you. This coffee flavor toffee is unique and has a bit of tradition in this recipe. What is unique about this recipe is that the coffee is brewed into their buttery toffee. Which to me is just unique. Then after doing that its then enrobed in dark chocolate. Then finishing touches it sprinkled with roasted salted California Almonds. This toffee is definitely my dads favorite out of the four. 

The next toffee that we were able to try was their Sea Salt Toffee and this was amazing and was my personal favorite. With the Sea Salt Caramel it was a little bit of heaven in your mouth and it was amazing.I had to force myself to put it down so I wouldn't eat it all in one setting. Their Sea Salt Toffee is their most traditional flavor using their grandmother's recipe. They cover every toffee piece with dark chocolate and sprinkle it with roasted salted almonds and for the final touch they dust it with seal salt.

The last toffee that we were able to try was their Orange Bliss Toffee. I was a little skeptic when I saw the name of this toffee and wasn't sure if I would like. This another unique toffee blend that they offer on their website. Since they are based in Florida they take advantages of the oranges that grow in Florida. They use the orange oil that is hand mixed in their buttery toffee. Which is unique to me and you can taste the orange with the dark chocolate and it taste amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and how amazing it was. 

These toffees were a treat. I would recommend them for a snack, treat, gift you name it. You will not go wrong with the toffees that they offer. I also like how they offer different shopping options. This product is easy to massage in skin and makes the skin feel great. This Day Cream doesn't feel greasy or gooey after applying it.

Overall I enjoy these product and they are amazing. I suffer from having very sensitive skin and many products will break me out or give me a bad reaction. The scent of this sugar scrub reminds me of a creamsicle scent. When I applied this product on my skin it melts into rough dry skin leaving it smooth, soft and hydrated. Erika's Tea Room

When it comes to small shops that you walk in and you feel like home. That is  I feel like were missing in today's world. I know it hard to fine those small shops that feel like taste at home. Although I try to find them around where I live, but it harder to find them now a days. Recently I was able to connect with Erika's Tea Room. When I was able to try their scones and tea I felt like I was home and I had a little slice of heaven. 

When I learned about Erika's Tea Room I kept learning more and more about this amazing place. I remember chatting with my friend about place like this, but we were unable to find one. She wanted to take my daughter to one and dress up. Having your own tea party with those special treats is one special time. The one thing that disappointing is that we finally found a place that we imagined of and it so far away. 

We received a little box of goodies from Erika's Tea Room. My daughter and I decided that we were going to have our own little tea party at home. Since we can't leave our home this gave us a perfect opportunity to have fun at home. My daughter dressed up in her dress and got out little plates and tea cups. 

The first item that we got ready for our tea party. We received their Thin Mint tea. This was a interesting tea. this is a rich Sri Lankan black blended with the enticing and refreshing notes of a chocolate after dinner mint. This tea is recommended for a dessert tea. This is a premium black tea with blackberry and peppermint. 

Then we received four scones for our tea party Thin Mint, Coconut Macaroon Scone, Creme de la Berry Scone, and Creme Brule Scone. These scones taste amazing. Even if they where sent from FL to MI. They tasted amazing fresh and soft. I was quite impressed with the packaging and how amazing they taste. They go perfect for a tea party like my daughter and I had.

Soakees

I know in these time it has been hard. Our normal routines have been changed. I know there are time I wish I can go soak my feet and have a pedicure, but times right now that can't happen.

What is the next best thing? I found a company that is called Soakeess and it feels like you brought the spa home to you. When I put this Soakee Boot on all I had to do is slide it on and pour in the warm water. I filled up the boot until it reached my ankle. Then there is a ribbed nylon that I tie around and secure it. I soak them about 20 mins and boy did they feel amazing afterwards. 

When your done using them you take your foot out one at a time of course. Then gather both Soakkees in one hand and take them to the sink. After taking them to the sink dump out the water 1-2 pounds. Then pat dry or use a hot air dryer. Them fold them up and put away.

I like having this on hand. You can actually use Soakees more than one way. You can make yourself feel like your at the spa or if you sprain, twisted ankle or hairline crack or any sport injury. Eco Local

The one thing I noticed during Covid 19 is that its hard to find toilet paper and paper towel. Even after a few months when I go down the toilet paper and paper towel row it usually empty. When I heard about Eco Local I was relieved.

When I was able to give this product a try I was pretty  excited. I don't know when or if they will get paper towel back in the store and in the meantime I needed something that I could use at home. I couldn't wait for the store to get more paper towel in. We received 10 orange unpaper towels and we have a basket to be able to store and put them in. It easier to keep track where they are and also this looks great in my kitchen. These towels are non toxic, absorbent alternatives to wasteful paper towels. 

These towels are approximately 9 by 12 inches which are very close to standard paper towel sizes. What I like about this cloth that its double sewn for extra durability. This is made with Birdseye and flannel cotton fabrics that get more absorbent with washes. When you wash these in your machine make sure that you put them with the same colors. You will want to use warm water while washing. You can tumble dry or lay flat on a service and have them air dry.

My Bougie Bottle

When it comes to going to work I always wish that I had a water bottle/ thermos that worked for me. The one thing that drives me nuts with my previous thermos is that I could never fit ice cubes inside. Or when it came to warm drinks they would never stay warm. This tray freezes ice diagonally and will fit in your water bottle which is pretty amazing. I know that I would always get frustrated when I wanted to bring cold water, but there was no way that I could until now. This bougie can keep you water cold up to 24 hours.
